How the pool is funded

Licensed VTU partners sell us data and airtime at a 3% to 4% commission, and electricity at 0.9% to 1.5%. You pay the standard price, and that commission is our margin. 30% of our net margin on every delivered purchase goes into that night's free fan reward pool. Nothing is added to your price, and a purchase only adds to the pool once it has been delivered.

For example, ₦1,000 of MTN airtime paid from your wallet earns us about ₦30, and ₦9 of that goes into the pool.

Common questions

Are SubAndWin's prices the standard retail prices?
Yes. Data plans cost the network's standard price, and airtime and electricity cost exactly their face value: ₦1,000 of airtime or power costs ₦1,000. Paying from your SubAndWin wallet has ₦0 fee, and so do card payments for data or airtime under ₦2,500. Card payments from ₦2,500, and for electricity, carry Paystack's processing fee, shown before you pay. We never add a fee of our own.
How fast is delivery, and what happens if a network or DisCo is down?
Top-ups and electricity tokens are sent within seconds of your payment being confirmed, and most arrive within a minute. If a network or electricity company rejects the order, the full amount goes back to your SubAndWin wallet automatically, and you can try again from the wallet with ₦0 fee.
Is entry to the fan reward pool really free?
Yes. Entry is never sold. Every ₦500+ purchase at standard prices comes with one free entry, or you can use 100 bonus points instead. You pay only for the data, airtime or electricity you receive, and no part of your payment is ever put at risk.
What do I get for 2 of the 3 exact scores?
50 bonus points. Collect 100 points and you get a free entry. Get all 3 exact scores to share the pool with the other winners; if nobody does, the whole pool rolls over to the next night.
Where does the pool money come from?
From SubAndWin's own margin. Licensed VTU partners sell us data and airtime at a 3% to 4% commission and 0.9% to 1.5% on electricity. 30% of our net margin on every delivered purchase goes into that night's pool, and we sometimes add promotional top-ups. Nothing is added to your price.
How do I get my electricity token?
It shows on your order page the moment it is delivered, in keypad groups of four digits, and we text it to the phone number on the order. Signed-in customers see every token in their account. Lost it? Use “Find my electricity token or entry” on the homepage.
Can I withdraw my wallet balance?
Your SubAndWin wallet is for buying data, airtime and electricity. Only winnings from the fan reward pool can be withdrawn, to your own Nigerian bank account, with a code sent to your phone.
